Jacob is a film editor from Los Angeles, currently based in Hollywood. He recently edited his first feature film, At The Gates, in association with Beacon Pictures and Picturehouse starring Noah Wyle & Miranda Otto. At The Gates premiered at The Deauville Film Festival, then won Best U.S. Narrative Feature Film at SCAD Savannah Film Festival and The New York Latino Film Festival. At The Gates was released in theaters in LA & NY. After completing At The Gates, Jacob went on to edit short film Mirage sponsored by Netflix and NALIP. Mirage premiered at The Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles and won Best Narrative Short at The Santa Fe International Film Festival. Jacob has also edited music videos for artists Dillon Francis, Mills, Sally Boy, and Belaganas as well as award winning short films Rinse & Repeat, Homeward, and A Dolt's Life
In addition to his editing work, Jacob has also worked as an editorial assistant on animated Netflix show Big Mouth, created by Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, and Mark & Jennifer Flackett-Levin as well as Warner Bros feature film, Father of the Bride, directed by Gaz Alazraki, edited by Jon Poll, and Netflix feature film The Electric State, directed by Joe & Anthony Russo, edited by Jeff Ford. Jacob currently works as a staff editor at AGBO.
