Jacob is a film editor from Los Angeles, currently based in Hollywood. His editing portfolio spans feature films, tv, music videos, shorts, and commercials.
He recently won a BFE Award for his work on Love Death & Robots (Netflix). He is also known for his editing work on Dillon Francis' music video LA On Acid, which received The Audience Award at SXSW and a Vimeo Staff Pick. His first feature film, At The Gates starring Noah Wyle, premiered theatrically after winning Best U.S. Narrative Feature at both SCAD and NYLFF. His recent shorts, Giving Mom The Talk and Mirage, won Best Comedy Short at SLIFF and Best Narrative Short at SFiFF respectively. He also won a Webby Award for his commercial editing work for happy coffee starring Robert Downey Jr.
Beyond lead editor roles, Jacob has contributed to editorial teams on major studio projects such as Big Mouth (Netflix), Father of the Bride (Warner Bros.), Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (Warner Bros.), and The Electric State (Netflix). Jacob is a member of MPEG Local 700.
